Founded by the late British-Iraqi visionary Dame Zaha Hadid in 1979, ZHA is one of the world’s most consistently inventive architectural studios - and has been for almost 50 years.

ZHA’s first completed project in the Middle East was the Sheikh Zayed Bridge in Abu Dhabi in 2010. This groundbreaking work paved the way for numerous commissions across the Arab world which continue to make significant contributions to the skylines of the Middle East.

Iconic projects include the BEEAH headquarters, inspired by the Sharjah desert dunes, and the King Abdullah Financial District Metro Station in Riyadh. These designs' features are inspired by traditional Arabian mashrabiya.
