Description
Ensuring you understand the regulations, and your subsequent liabilities, around tax, tariffs and Rules of Origin is vital when you start exporting.
This session will examine these key areas to help you stay on top of your commitments.
Starting with Customs Declarations, and looking at their importance in the export process, leading you to better understand any potential tariffs associated with your goods, not to mention license requirements and valuations.
We will look at the ‘meaty’ subject of Rules of Origin, and how this can affect your ability to trade either through a Free Trade Agreement, or through World Trade Organization Most Favoured Nation rates, something that may well have a bearing on your pricing strategy, too.
Finally we will take a look at any applicable taxes for both goods and services.
