Ensure country or customer is not on the list of embargoes

The UK government imposes embargoes and other trade restrictions on a number of countries, organisations and individuals. The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) is responsible for overall UK policy on sanctions.

You can view an up-to-date list of specific countries where arms embargo, trade sanctions and other trade restrictions have been imposed. This list does not include countries subject to only financial or other types of sanctions.
