The Fram Museum
For the project we designed a 240 degree projection system utilising 10 high res projectors to be wrapped around the original arctic exploration ship The Fram. Additionally we were tasked to bring to life the inside of the ship using lighting, projection, and audio. The BlueBox team oversaw the schematic and detailed design phases along with overseeing the installation and commissioning team. The Project won the prestigious Themed Entertainment Award for Outstanding Achievement in 2020

The experience of being on board the FRAM has added an even more exciting element with the dramatic storm sequence, and the additional areas that have been opened up and ‘dressed’ on board. The design team have helped us add value and excitement to the visitors’ experience at the Museum for every visitor, young and old.
