The Optimec is830 Auto in-process metrology system, and its software, has been developed by OSL specifically for use in the contact and intraocular lens production manufacturing environment. The Optimec is830 Auto’s single measurement head can be mounted into different configurations to suit a variety of production environments whilst still retaining its measurement performance. With the customer’s requirement to further automate their manufacturing processes, integrated metrology is essential for them to maintain full and detailed control.
Following the success of the is830 bench top system in its R&D facility, when the need arose to move the new IOL from R&D to the production stage, the automated version of the is830 metrology system was the customer's obvious choice.
