Office for Students (OFS) website and intranet
The user experience element focused on prioritising information based on users’ top tasks and promoting channel shift to reporting online.
Prototyping and user testing helped refine, inform and iterate the user journeys and information architecture.
The Umbraco CMS platform was setup, with template development, integration and module development, creating specific content layouts for guides, events, news, publications and more.
By working closely with the Digital Accessibility Centre during the project, we ensured the website was extensively pan disability tested.
Cloud hosting architecture was specified, configured and deployed.
Security testing and load testing was undertaken.
An agile development approach to the project was taken, but also including fundamental project management outputs to ensure the fixed deadline was hit, along with extensive testing, QA and ongoing support and maintenance.

Dear S8080 team, I wanted to send a note on behalf of the Office for Students (OfS) to say thank you for your considerable support in helping us get the OfS operational from 1 April. In particular you provided the Umbraco CMS and have stood up four different websites (transition hub, Interim OfS , hub and OfS), some at very short notice. Your team was easy to work with and very responsive. In particular the speed in which they resolved technical issues and supported in house technical staff was much appreciated. We look forward to continuing to work with S8080 to further develop the website and hub.Nolan Smith Director of Resources, Finance & Transformation Office for Students
