In partnership with Green Shield Group, we set up rooftop solar PV systems at an educational establishment in Lancashire, integrating technology from SolarEdge for student learning on renewables.

Installed during term time, our process ensured safety with minimal disruption. Funded by Shawton Energy via a 25-year PPA, we'll oversee its operation throughout. Burnley College purchases the generated electricity at rates 25% less than October 2021 grid prices. This 736-module project will diminish the college's carbon emissions by 48 tonnes annually and save over £80,000 on electricity bills yearly.

Over a decade, savings might surpass £1.2m. The college now benefits from reduced bills, boosts its sustainability credentials, and anticipates savings above £5.5m during the PPA's duration.
