Graphene-based Polymer Compounds for Electronics

Hubron technical team and customer Graphenest outside Hubron International Ltd. Headquarters in Failsworth, Manchester.
Hubron and Graphenest have entered a strategic partnership that will explore the development and commercialisation of graphene-based polymer masterbatch and compounds with unprecedented electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding performance for electronic enclosures manufacturing.
The electronics industry is now able to use graphene-based shielding solutions to replace the conventional metallic or metal-painted plastic enclosures. This new product line will start with a graphene-based thermoplastic suitable to be implemented as a shielding solution in medium-high and high frequencies (for 5G and beyond).
The agreement brings together the expertise of Hubron International as a specialist in black masterbatch and conductive polymers for electronics parts and the knowledge of Graphenest around graphene production, shielding products & IP.
Hubron continues to increase its capabilities for bespoke grades and the ability to collaborate long-term with technical businesses.
