A Winter Wonderland

Concept
Guests to enter curtained off area of the popup. Put on headsets and be transported to an arctic forest.

The northern lights would appear and delight the audience. From the forest animals would emerge, transform into the casino characters and then invite the guests to the casino.

The next scene opens in a real casino with real life characters introducing the casinos services.

The Reveal
On removing the headsets the actual casino is revealed in real life along with the animal characters who can then chat and interact with the guests.

Solution
An arctic VR environment was created with northern lights. Characters were modeled, textured and animated to match the real life actors.

The casino was filmed in booth with real actors in 360 VR video. The app built to run simultaneously on 5 networked machines using Oculus Rifts.

Timescales
Storyboard to delivery was a mere three and half weeks.
