The Savoy Hotel, The Strand, London
Beaufort Bar decorative panel, design to the specification design of interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon.
Inspired by the prestigious design of Lalique, Daedalian Glass Studios created a panel with various techniques such as sandblasting, etching and laminating to reminisce the intricate detailing and luxury finish.
This piece is the natural colour of float glass, therefore in not low-iron. The designer wanted the exact shade green of the natural glass colour.
To ensure the most professional and high end standard from Daedalian Glass Studios, the project took months to complete, weighing in at approximately 165kg.
