NATO ACT - Inter-Dependency in Resilience

NATO Allied Command Transformation

Faced with a broader and evolving range of military and non-military security challenges, “being resilient requires Allies to maintain and protect civilian capabilities, alongside and in support of military capabilities, and to work across the whole of government and with the private sector.” It also requires the Alliance to continue engaging international bodies and partners, especially EU.
Oakas is working to bring better visibility of interdependencies between military, civil and private sectors and identify existing issues in the field of civil-military resilience. It will build upon the ongoing efforts by NATO HQ, EU, UN, other organizations and Nations and extract actionable proposals on how to mitigate consequences of those interdependencies and more precisely how NATO may best continue supporting its member states and partners in addressing vulnerabilities to help make the Alliance more secure.
