SkillsForge implementation in Australia

SkillsForge was recently implemented at the University of Adelaide. For the University of Adelaide the focus was student (higher degree researchers) skills assessment, development needs analysis, development activity tracking and automated short course/development activity booking and management. The SkillsForge solution was integrated with the University of Adelaide systems to provide Single Sign On and data integration as well as providing the requirement functionality.

The SkillsForge solution is hosted at Amazon Web Services Sydney, to ensure data protection requirements are met (i.e. no Australian data leaves Australia), and this type of approach can be replicated across the world. The University of Adelaide's solution was fully customised to their requirements through the use of SkillsForge's embedded Content Management System (so it had the desired look and feel), customisable workflows, forms and notifications and bespoke reporting.
