Thermal Management Projects

WIND TURBINES – Liquid Cooling Plates:
PSL has designed and supplied more than 15,000 units of water cooled plates - for cooling IGBT’s in the power modules installed in 2MW-6MW on-shore and off-shore wind turbines.
UPS - Static Transfer Switches and Rectifiers:
Since 1999, PSL have designed and supplied static transfer switches and rectifiers into Schneider - for their UPS models Hercules (800KVA), Orca (400KVA Double switch), Zeus, Yosemite and most recently Laguna Beach (1.25MVA).
We have also designed and supplied 4000A static transfer switches (Forced air cooled) and 5000A STS using heat-pipe technology to the Eaton Corporation.
SUBMARINE APPLICATION – Inverters:
PSL have designed and manufactured high current/high voltage inverters for a 1st-Level Naval Submarine application.
RAILWAY TRACTION – Heat Sink Assemblies:
PSL have manufactured & supplied all of the propulsion heatsinks for the West Coast Mainline, Northern Line & Jubilee Line rail contracts.
