Holistic West African Security including Kidnap Response

EOS Risk's global Security Operations Centre (SOC) received a call from a company whose vessel had been hijacked and several crew members kidnapped. EOS dispatched response to client overseas within 24 hours to assist the Crisis Management Team. At the same time EOS organised a relief captain and security escort vessel to retrieve the hijacked vessel to safety. The Group conducted end to end negotiation, ransom delivery, collection, repatriation of crew under the overwatch of the SOC and our legal counsel. The client required in-country journey management (threat assessment, tracking, response, protection, secure movement) for Board level personnel who flew to the country to receive the released hostages. At the same time as the retrieval major civil disorder broke out during which EOS' dynamic service ensured that alternative routes and hospitals were used, preventing further consequences. EOS now supports the client in many other countries providing Advice, Protection and Assistance
