Tended is changing the face of safety in high-risk working environments with its innovative geofencing solution that's quick to deploy and delivers unprecedented accuracy and reliability. High-precision wearables combine geospatial technology with cutting-edge centimetre-level positioning, enabling organisations to create virtual safe zones/fences on their worksites. These zones then trigger real-time alerts if the boundary is crossed, helping individuals regain situational awareness and prevent them from straying into hazardous areas. The solution is also used for ensuring the correct placement of critical protection equipment onsite and tracking vehicles and machinery. With a live view on an online dashboard, any unsafe events can be quickly identified to prevent potential incidents. This first-of-a-kind solution delivers an estimated 150x better accuracy than smartphone GPS to position individuals, equipment and vehicles to an average accuracy of 14 mm. We use similar technology found in autonomous vehicles and drones, condensed down into a small wearable set to transform the face of safety. No local infrastructure or set up required, meaning Tended’s technology works anywhere in the world. With over six years of experience deploying wearables in high-risk industries, we have encountered and understand the challenges presented to workforce participation and engagement.
