Company description

We are experts in fibre processing, adding value to your fleece, and working with Wool, Alpaca and Mohair amongst other types of natural fibres and materials. Our services include Scouring, Carding, Woollen and Worsted Spinning, and Finishing and these processes take place under one roof at our mill, which is good for the environment and ensures that we limit our carbon footprint. We also recycle most of the waste materials that we generate from our manufacturing processes to support our green agenda, our Future Net Zero accreditation and the circular economy. We are passionate about working with raw fleece, transforming it into beautiful, high quality yarn so that you can create your finished product of choice. We tailor our services to meet YOUR individual needs and can process quantities of fleece from 20 kilos to over a tonne or more. We offer a personalised and competitively priced service, and can process small batches as well as source additional fibre to make up your order, providing evidence of traceability because we know how important that is. We handle each order of incoming fibre separately so you can be assured that only your fibre, turned into beautifully processed yarn, will be returned to you, unless you ask us to blend it with another source. Our team of industry-trained technicians and specialist finishers really care about the fleece and yarn that they handle, having gained a vast amount of experience, working with the fleece of 50 of the 60-plus breeds of sheep that exist in Britain today, including rare and specialised varieties.
