Request for Quotes (RFQ): In-line with the Peace+ Programme Manual 2024 and the Youth Work Ireland Finance Policy (2023 v25), External Expertise Contracts require evidence of a selection process. The selection process for this RFQ will be based on the following criteria as per the scoring matrix. Scoring and Selection 30% to vfm / cost, 30% to Skills, resources and past experience (based on written samples of previous work 10% to Methodology/ Approach / 20% to Understanding of Requirements; 10% to Timetable. Quote Format: Please provide a basic breakdown of costs, skills and past experience, proposed methodology, timetable and approach. Collectively, these should demonstrate an understanding of the requirements. Quote should be on headed paper along with the date of the quote. Quotes should be accompanied by a CV and samples of previous work such as manulaised programmes, curricula, or training materials. Requirements and Specifications for this RFQ: Quotes are now required from suitably experienced contractors to:Assist in researching, co-designing and writing five session youth work programmes to address personal development, inter-group relationships and intra-group relationships in secondary school students in Louth, Cavan, Monaghan, Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal through Joint Training Schemes (programmes) The Joint Training Schemes (programmes) will incorporate existing materials from three Youth Work Ireland manulaised programmes: The YES Programme; https://www.youthworkireland.ie/what-we-do/yes-youth-empowerment-in-sre/ The Be Well Programme https://www.youthworkireland.ie/youth-supports/mental-wellbeing/ The Stand Upp Programme https://www.youthworkireland.ie/youth-supports/sexual-health-and-positiā¦ Contractors will be required to work with the Our Generation Coordinator and the University of Ulster to complete the following: Review consultation materials from young people, youth workers and teachers and other stakeholders Incorporate Our Generation Best Practice Guidelines into the programmes Develop a theory of change for the five session programme Develop youth work activities/session content for the five session programme Review feedback from pilots of the five session programme to be conducted by the Youth Work Ireland Our Generation team and provide More about the Joint Training Schemes Joint Training Schemes (programmes) will apply two theoretical frameworks Trauma Informed Approaches, applied to youth work specifically, and Social Identity Perspective as the mechanism for peacebuilding. Joint Training Schemes (programmes) will be developed using a new tiered approach, so C&YP progress through activities designed to develop intrapersonal, interpersonal & then intergroup skills. All Joint Training Schemes (programmes) will include shared learning activity where C&YP are given opportunities to come together, through cross border/cross community activities, with individuals & groups who have identities other than their own (outgroups).
