Canada - Yellowhead County - Invitation to Bid - Hamlet of Marlboro Wastewater Lagoon, Treated Wastewater Discharge Pipeline and Outfall

Description

The major items of work include the following approximate quantities:

1. General requirements including mobilization, de-mobilization and survey layout etc.
2. Approximately 39,270m2 tree cutting, grubbing, brushing and clearing (subject to site conditions and deletion)
3. Approximately 39,270m2 topsoil, peat, and organic matter stripping, hauling, stockpiling and dispose off (300mm depth; subject to site conditions and deletion)
4. Supply and install approximately 908m new fence (subject to site conditions and deletion)
5. Supply and install 4 new, 6m wide and 2.44m high swing gate (subject to site conditions and deletion)
6. Remove, dispose off and plug with bentonite existing 6 monitoring well (subject to site conditions and deletion)
7. Supply and install 4 new, monitoring wells (subject to site conditions and deletion)
8. Supply & install new PVC DR35, 2,316m, 300mm dia. Treated Wastewater Discharge Pipeline (TWDP), 2m-5m deep by shored vertical trench
9. Supply & install approximately 54v.m, new 18 sulfate resistance 1,200 mm diameter manholes
10. Supply & install 11 new NF-80 (floating) manhole’s frame and cover c/w final grade adjustment
11. Supply & install 7 new NF-39 (standard) manhole’s frame and cover c/w final grade adjustment
12. Supply & install 1 new outfall complete
13. Approximately 4,000m3, over excavation and disposal of unsuitable material (subject to site condition and deletion)
14. Approximately 2,000m3, over excavation and placement of washed rock (subject to site condition and deletion)
15. Approximately 400m, special foundation (subject to site condition and deletion)
16. Supply & install new HDPE DR 11 approximately 1,112m, 150mm dia. sanitary forcemain (3m deep by directional drilling)
17. Supply and install granular bedding (road embankment) including common excavation, cuts, fills, compaction, hauling and stockpiling (subject to site condition and deletion)
17.1 Approximately 2,882m3 cut
17.2 Approximately 23,558m3 fill (out of 23,558m3 approximately 20,676m3 is borrow material / owner’s supply; bidder’s excavation, loading, unloading, transportation complete)
18. Supply and install approximately 6,196m3 new gravel base course (GBC; 300mm depth; subject to site condition and deletion)
19. Approximately 3,404m ditch construction complete including erosion protection, ditch check, topsoil & seeding (subject to site condition and deletion)
20. Supply and install 10 new CSP culvert, approximately 264m, 500mm dia., complete including rip-rap (subject to site condition and deletion)
21. Supply and install 4 new CSP culvert, approximately 98m, 750mm dia., complete including rip-rap (subject to site condition and deletion)
22. Supply and install 4 new bollards complete
23. Supply and install approximately 120m2 concrete vacuum truck pad
24. Pond common excavation including cut, fills, berm construction, compaction, hauling and stockpiling (subject to site condition and deletion)
24.1 Approximately 13,502m3 cut
24.2 Approximately 23,730m3 fill (out of 23,730m3 approximately 10,228m3 is borrow material / owner’s supply; bidder’s excavation, loading, unloading, transportation complete)
25. Approximately 19,120m2 base preparation (100mm fine gravel) for 60mil HDPE Liner
26. Supply and install approximately 17,868m2 heavy non-woven geotextile protective layer 16 oz. smooth
27. Supply and install approximately 17,868m2, 60mil HDPE liner complete including Gas Vents, tie-into sewage receiving & interconnection structures, penetrations and anchoring to the berm
28. Supply and install 4 new inlet and outlet concrete drain pads
29. Supply and install sewage receiving structure complete including all pipes and tie-in connections complete
30. Supply and install inter connection structure complete including all pipes, plug valve and tie-in connections and insulation complete
31. Supply and install outlet structure complete including all pipes, plug valve and tie-in connections and insulation complete
32. Supply and install approximately 6,352m2 new topsoil (100 mm depth; subject to site condition and deletion)
33. Supply and install approximately 6,352m2 seeding (subject to site condition and deletion)
34. Supply and install approximately 3,176m2 sod (subject to site condition and deletion)
