Description

The subject of this tender is for the cleaning of wastewater pits belonging to the Water Services Corporation currently connected to the wastewater network. In all there are 17 WW pits to be cleaned; 14 located in Malta and 3 located in Gozo. This tender is divided into two lots as follows: Lot 1 – Malta Industrial Estates and RTIPs, Lot 2 – Gozo Industrial Estate and RTIP. The estimated volume of each pit is 2-3m3 and the sediment/sludge is to be taken care of by the Contractor at his own expense, provided that this is disposed of in full respect of applicable waste disposal regulations imposed by the related authorities / entities and that no sludge is disposed of into the sewer network. Each pit will be cleaned every two months for a period of two (2) years.
