Notice is hereby given by the City of Vancouver (“City”) of its intent to contract with Dr. Erik Vu for the supply and delivery/provision of FIFA Host City Medical Lead. The Host City Medical Lead is a required role for FIFA World Cup 26™ and must be a local medical professional with strong local connections and experience in managing medical services for large events. The Host City Medical Lead will:
Collaborate with the FIFA Medical Lead, Stadium Medical Lead and Public Health System Lead, ensuring services at all FWC26 Vancouver sites including: the Stadium, FIFA Fan Festival™, Training Sites, the Airport, as well as ancillary and future identified FIFA sites. Act as the liaison between the FIFA Medical Lead and provincial public health authorities and ensuring services at BC Place and all Host City FIFA sites. Work with the FIFA World Cup 26™ Vancouver Host Committee’s Integrated Safety and Security Unit to develop and review the medical plans for the event. TERM: 2 Years The contract is valued at approximately $68,000.00Further information on this procurement opportunity is available at this link“Although the [Contractor] will be providing [goods/services] to the City under the Agreement that the City will use to host FIFA World Cup 26 matches in Vancouver, the Contractor agrees that it will not have or acquire any affiliation or association with FIFA or FIFA World Cup 26 because of the [goods/services] or the Agreement. The [Contractor] will not claim that it has any affiliation or association with FIFA or FIFA World Cup 26.”
