The Municipality of Sainte-Sophiedeeks bids by public tender for work to extend the bicycle path between rue André-Daulier and chemin de Val-des-Lacs.
Tenders must be submitted by a supplier with an establishment in Quebec or in one of the territories covered by the applicable agreements.
The documents required to prepare bids will be available as of Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from the Electronic Tendering Service (SEAO), by contacting one of the representatives by telephone at 1 866-669-7326 or 514 856-6600, or by consulting the website www.seao.ca. Documents may be obtained at a cost established by SEAO. Only bids submitted on the bid documents will be accepted.
The Municipality of Sainte-Sophie is not responsible for the distribution of tender documents by SEAO and it is the responsibility of bidders to ensure that they have all their documents before submitting their bid.
Security required: A bid bond, issued by an insurance company authorized by the Inspector General of Financial Institutions or a banking institution, conforming to form 1809-900/H of the Guarantees and Insurance document. The bond must be valid for a period of ninety (90) days following the bid opening date, or a certified cheque representing ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid (taxes included), made payable to the Owner, and drawn on an account registered in a banking institution or credit union doing business in Quebec. Each bid must also be accompanied by a letter of undertaking from an insurance company certifying that the required bonds will be granted to the bidder in the event the latter is selected to carry out the work.
Tenders for this call for tenders must be submitted before 11 a.m. local time on Friday, September 20, 2024, to the attention of Ms. France Charlebois, OMA, Director of the Clerk's Office and Assistant Clerk-Treasurer of the Municipality of Sainte-Sophie, at the following address: 2199, boulevard Sainte-Sophie, Sainte-Sophie, Québec, J5J 1A1.
