The Centre de services scolaires de Laval wishes to obtain tenders to retain the services of a contractor to carry out, if necessary, corrective maintenance interventions and to act as a contractor for the realization of several small projects in plumbing and hydronic heating for several educational institutions on the territory of Laval Island.
The scope of the work includes providing expertise and qualified and certified labour for installation and corrective maintenance work in plumbing and hydronic heating. The contractor shall undertake to carry out the work in accordance with the codes and standards in effect, the rules of the trade and to the satisfaction of the Centre de services scolaires de Laval.
Plans and specifications, contract documents and other information will be available on the Government of Quebec's SEAO tendering site at www.seao.ca .

Please note that no bid or performance security is required.

This public call for tenders is subject to the following agreements:

Trade and Cooperation Agreement between Quebec and Ontario (ACCQO + $105,700)
Agreement on the Liberalization of Government Procurement in Quebec and New Brunswick (AQNB + $105,700)
Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CCFTA + $105,700)



All submissions must be received at the owner's address before 9:00 a.m. on December 9, 2020, to be opened non-publicly at the same location on the same day and at the same time. Any submission received after that time will be automatically rejected.

Please submit only the tender form including all annexes and the price schedule when you submit your tender at the opening date and time indicated in the tender document.

Only contractors holding, where applicable, the required licence under the Building Act and being a CCQ member will be considered for the purpose of awarding the contract. Tendering contractors are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their tender. Please note that the tenderer must provide, with the submission of his tender, proof of certification of his company and of all technicians assigned to the contract.
Contract Start and End Dates and Work Schedule: The Contract Start and End Dates are scheduled for 2 firm years, from January 12, 2021 to January 12, 2023, with the possibility of a one-year extension from January 13, 2023 to January 13, 2024 for a total of 3 years.
The Owner undertakes not to accept any of the bids received, without any obligation whatsoever towards the bidders.

The deadline for filing a complaint with respect to this call for tenders is November 26, 2020.
