With the procurement of an automated laser cutting system, which has an automated loading and unloading device for the sheets or products, it should be possible to provide the system with a pre-sorted stack of sheets with the corresponding processing programs and have them cut without the intervention of an employee. This automation approach should enable the system to process the prepared cutting orders without supervision by an employee and for at least one shift length. In this way, the efficient operating time of the new laser cutting system to be procured should be significantly increased or at least doubled compared to the existing system.
The aim is to use the new capacity to take further products back into in-house production and thus increase delivery reliability and quality.
The laser cutting system to be supplied must fulfill the functional requirements listed below, fit into the hall layout in the Magdeburg plant section and comply with the latest state of the art and the applicable safety requirements.
As part of this Europe-wide award procedure, an automatic laser cutting system and the necessary accessories for the Magdeburg plant are to be planned, manufactured, supplied and managed up to final acceptance.
The bidder must provide technical descriptions, general drawings and, if necessary, drawings (ideally in 3D) of essential assemblies with the bid, which show the principle mode of operation and performance of the system.
