*** No amendment 0004 was issued. This is being posted to correct the response date to match amendment number 0003. No acknowledgement of Amendment 0004 is needed. The Raystown Lake Project, Baltimore District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will contract for upgrades to the Water Treatment Plant to improve overall operations to provide public drinking water and be compliant with a design approved Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP. The list below identifies the improvements to bring the plant into compliance with PADEP regulations and requirements.The project consists of but is not limited to the following:?Reconfigure the piping of the WTP clearwell?Install actuated valves or pump controls?Modify the water sampling location and add flow measurement?Modify the pressure distribution system discharge pump?Drain, inspect, and clean the clearwell?Replace filter media in both filters.?Replace the filter control panel?May include bid items to install fiber and make required connections along with afiber-optic connection?Replace PLC and install autodialer with signal callouts and VTScada software?Replacement of the clarifier / filter media, underdrains, and air scour piping in bothclarifier/filter units.
