WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT WORK

The City of Sorel-Tracy is requesting tenders to carry out water main replacement work, including road work for this project.
Submission forms can only be obtained through Sé@o at www.seao.ca or 1-866-669-7326. Obtaining documents is subject to the fees of this organization.
Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. on August 13, 2019 at City Hall located at 71 Charlotte Street in Sorel Tracy to be publicly open on the same day and at the same time. Any submissions received after this date will be rejected.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified cheque drawn on an account registered in a Quebec bank and payable to the City of Sorel-Tracy, for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid, excluding taxes. A bid bond of the same value issued by an insurance company authorized by the Autorité des marchés financiers will also be accepted.
Bidding contractors are responsible for the selection of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their bid, and must inform them of the conditions they intend to impose on them and ensure that they hold the required permits and licences.
This contract is subject to the following agreements: ACCQO, AQNB ALEC.
The City of Sorel-Tracy does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the bids received and does not assume any obligation or costs of any kind whatsoever towards the bidder(s). In addition, it reserves the right to award the contract in whole or in part only.
