Description
The City of Matagami is seeking tenders for the provision of residual materials management services, including the collection and transportation of household waste and recyclable materials, transfer, long-distance transportation, sorting and packaging of recyclable materials, as well as the control of its in-trench landfill site.
Tender documents are available through the Système électronique d'appel d'offres (SEAO) at www.seao.ca. SEAO may charge a fee for obtaining documents. In accordance with the Act respecting the Autorité des marchés publics (RLRQ, c. A-33.2.1), the deadline for filing complaints with the City regarding the call for tenders process is November 4, 2024.
Tender submission procedures
Tenders will be physically received at the offices of the City of Matagami located at 195, boulevard Matagami, Matagami, Québec, J0Y 2A0, no later than Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 3 p.m., to the attention of Ms. Joannie Plante Bélisle, Deputy Clerk, and marked "Tender - P-2024-10-001 - Residual materials management services". Sealed bids will then be publicly opened at 3:01 p.m., at the same address, in the council chambers of the Town Hall.
The City of Matagami does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the bids received, and declines all liability to any of the bidders in the event of rejection of all bids. If it is in its interest to do so, it may disregard any formal defect or minor flaw in a bid.
The contract covered by this call for tenders is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), the Trade and Cooperation Agreement between Quebec and Ontario (TCAQO) and the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between Canada and the European Union (CETA).
