Description
The requirement is to provide: Provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, parts and labor necessary to maintain, repair, and inspect the real property vertical transportation equipment (VTE) at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC in a manner that will ensure continuous and safe operation. Please see Instructions to Offerors on pages 45 of the solicitation and the evaluation criteria on pages 47 and 48 of the solicitation. Additionally, to be considered for award SDVOSB's must be certified by the SBA in SAM. See FAR. 19.1405(c).
PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE AND SITE VISIT
(a) A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be conducted on 13 November 2024 at 0800 EST.
Prospective offerors are not required to attend this event; however, attendance by prospective
offerors is highly encouraged.
(b) All attendees must RSVP via email no later than 8 November 2024 via email to the POCs listed below
The RSVP email shall be addressed to both POCs. If you are driving a vehicle on to the base, you will need your driver’s license, vehicle registration and proof of insurance to gain access to the installation.

(c) On the day of the conference, attendees will meet at 0730. EST on 13 November 2024 at the
Visitor Center located adjacent to the Berkley Gate.
(d) Depending on the number of attendees, transportation to and from the conference and site visit locations as a group via bus.
(e) Attendees shall present a valid Government-issued identification card (i.e. state-issued
driver's license, etc.) upon entry onto the bus/van if government transportation is provided.
(f) The Government will begin the event with a brief pre-proposal conference convened by the
contracting officer and/or 4th Contracting Squadron Representative, discussing this requirement and
summarizing solicitation procedures. The event will conclude with a site visit that shall consist
predominantly of a detailed tour of the performance sites at Seymour Johnson AFB. The site visit
portion of this event shall be led by a Government civil engineer representative. The purpose of
the site visit is to afford prospective bidders the ability to assess the primary project area in
preparation of proposal development.
(g) Any and all questions shall be presented in writing and by email to the POCs after the
pre-proposal site visit. All questions shall be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. EST on 15 November 2024
(h) Detailed minutes of the pre-proposal conference and site visit, as well as any submitted
questions and corresponding questions, shall be posted to SAM.gov
