Verification service:
StA 9 in the major ABS\/NBS Karlsruhe-Basel project is to be equipped with the trackside ETCS (European Train Control System) level 2 control-command and signalling subsystem. This is part of the structural control-command and signaling subsystem (CCS) and must therefore meet the requirements of the CCS TSI. The CCS TSI declares the application of the EN 5012x standards to be mandatory.
The need to carry out verification is set out in EN 50126-1 and is described in terms of process and technical content.
ETCS project support service:
Ensuring complex project management based on the new and partly still to be developed ETCS\/ LST; DSTW technology; especially ETCS L2\/ ETCS L1LS and Swiss train protection (P44); the innovative technology of ESTW full renewal; LST\/TK services in StA 1\/ StA 7\/ StA 9 and the tunnel measures to achieve the Karlsruhe-Basel project objectives.
In particular: Interface management Swiss train protection and compatibility with the Corridor-Rhine Alpine line equipment.
The major project ABS\/NBS Karlsruhe-Basel is co-financed by EU funds. The financing shown (under 1.2) is the valid financing at the time of awarding this sub-measure. The major project ABS\/NBS Karlsruhe-Basel reserves the right to subsequently use EU funds from the co-financing for this measure.
