Description

The University is inviting the submission of Proposals to supply an ultrahigh-plex immunofluorescence microscope with automated cyclical staining capacity for the department of Oncology. The department’s aim is to conduct a multidisciplinary study of late-stage immune resistance mechanisms in cancer. The equipment will be used along with spatial profiling to study patient samples from early and late-stage disease and will identify how multiple mechanisms of immune resistance work together to drive tumour progression in advanced cancers. In addition to discovering biomarkers that improve treatment planning, this will identify novel therapeutic targets for future drug development. The successful Proponent will be expected to supply, install, maintain and provide on-site training for the proposed equipment.
