The Centre de services scolaires de la Beauce-Etchemin wishes to obtain bids to retain the services of a contractor for the work mentioned in the above project.
The work will be carried out between April 7, 2025 and August 22, 2025.

AVAILABLE DOCUMENTATION
As of October 31, 2024, tender documents will be available to any person or company on the SEAO website, notice no. 20026315.
It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure that the tender document is complete and corresponds to all the information available on SEAO for this call for tenders, i.e. plans, specifications and other tender documents.

RECEPTION
All tenders must be received at the Centre de services scolaires de la Beauce-Etchemin (CSSBE) at 2505, 10e Avenue, Saint-Georges (Québec) G5Y 5E7 by 11 a.m., local time, on Thursday, November 28, 2024. Any bid received after this time will be automatically rejected and returned to the bidder unopened.
Electronic bids may only be submitted via the Government of Quebec's electronic tendering system (SEAO), at the following address: www.seao.ca.

BID SECURITY
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security representing 10% of the total amount of the bid, excluding all applicable taxes, in the form of a certified cheque, irrevocable letter of guarantee or bid bond issued by a financial institution that is an insurer holding a licence issued in accordance with the Insurance Act (R.S.Q., c. A-32) authorizing it to practice surety insurance, a trust company licensed under the Act respecting trust companies and savings companies (R.S.Q., c. S-29.01), a financial services cooperative governed by the Act respecting financial services cooperatives (R.S.Q., c. C-67.3) or a bank within the meaning of the Bank Act (S.C., 1991, c. 46), failing which the bid will be automatically rejected.

INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT (If one or more agreements apply)

Where competition is insufficient, the CSSBE may make eligible any service provider with an establishment in a territory not covered by an applicable intergovernmental agreement.

BIDDERS' VISIT
Bidders must confirm their presence to Francis Longpré (francis.longpre@cssbe.gouv.qc.ca or 418-225-4081) two (2) days before the visit, which will take place on Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at door P5, in the presence of engineering and architectural representatives.

OTHER
Only contractors holding, where applicable, the license required under the Building Act (R.S.Q., c. B-1.1) will be considered for award of the contract. Tenderers are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both in terms of their solvency and the content of their tender.

The CSSBE does not undertake to accept any of the bids received, in particular when it deems that the prices are too high or disproportionate or do not reflect a fair price.
