Creation of a concept for junction signage for bicycle traffic by the contracting authority

Brief description:
In the Saalekreis, with the tourist cycle routes, there are currently approx. 300 km of signposted cycle paths. In order to improve the density of the tourist cycle network and the signposting of everyday cycle paths, a cycle path network of approx. 1,400 km (1km cycle path\/ km2 district area) is required across the district area. The network density, mainly the network of paths connecting towns and the necessary junctions, should be based on the Saale district cycling concept and a register of signposts should be drawn up.
The junction signposting should connect touristically neuralgic points and create synergies with other tourist destinations as well as with everyday cycle traffic in the respective municipalities.
The concept for junction signposting should include comprehensive signposting for cycle traffic. This requires the planning of a cycle route signage network with a signage register.
The project period begins when the contract is awarded and, as things stand at present, ends on November 30, 2025.
