Short description:
Objective\/completion of the measure(s):
Acquisition of the nutrition trainer\/in B-license.

The following contents should be taught as a minimum during the measure:
Theory:
- Fundamentals of nutritional science
- Nutrients, vitamins and trace elements and their functions
- Energy metabolism and energy requirements
- Water and fluid balance
- Performance-enhancing substances
- Nutritional supplements
- Diets and different forms of nutrition
- Role of nutrition in sport
- Nutrition for illnesses

Practice:
- Nutritional advice
- Medical history interview
- Writing nutrition plans
- Keeping food diaries
- Body fat measurement using current methods
- Determination of BMI
- Interpretation of BMI and body fat etc.
- Calculation of basal and performance metabolic rate
- Calculation of calorie requirements
Number and duration of the measure(s):
Framework contract over 2 years (to cover the years 2025 and 2026).

1 call is planned per year.
The measure has a duration of
5 days with 40 teaching units (TU) incl. examination.
One teaching unit corresponds to 45 minutes (excluding breaks).

Start of the course:
The first measure will take place from 07. 04. to 11. 04. 2025. The exact start date will be communicated in good time by the responsible BFD.

Further measures:
20. 04.
- 24. 04. 2026.
