Zukunft Bau - Feasibility study on climate impact costs for climate protection and climate adaptation measures

Brief description:
The feasibility study to be carried out is intended to investigate how the economic consequential costs of climate change can be included in the consideration of climate protection and climate adaptation measures in specific construction projects from a business point of view. This will be based on research into existing studies on the economic costs of climate protection and adaptation measures, the consequential costs of climate change and international best practice examples. Furthermore, it will be examined whether and, if so, how the economic balance sheet can be transferred to the field of action of buildings and, if possible, broken down to the business level (e.g. CO2 price) when considering climate protection and climate adaptation. Finally, proposals for the political framework are to be developed.
