Brief description:
The client (AG), the contracting authority (BGR), Stilleweg 2, 30655 Hannover, awards a framework contract for the digitization and processing of borehole geophysical archive data.
This involves borehole logging data from several deep wells that were drilled in the 1960s to 1990s on behalf of the oil and gas industry in the German Exclusive Economic Zone of the North Sea and the adjacent coastal sea (12-mile zone). At present, this drilling data is mainly available in the form of scanned archive files; digital datasets of borehole geophysical measurements are either not available or only incomplete. The aim of the BGR is to digitize these scanned measurement data in order to secure them in the long term and make them usable for the assessment of the exploitation potential in the deep subsurface of the German North Sea.
