Description
Type of contract:
Construction work
Title of the contract:
Cleaning barrage Riedenburg for structural inspection 2025
Brief description:
The subject of this tender is the concrete and steel surface cleaning of the Riedenburg barrage. This includes the entire lock chamber, the two longitudinal channels, the upper inlet funnel, but also the boat lock and the 3 weir fields of the barrage. For all parts of the barrage, practically the entire drained area between the upstream and downstream inspection locks of the lock chamber, boat lock and weir fields must be cleaned. In addition, all steel surfaces such as the upper and lower gates, all longitudinal channel locks and the 3 weir flaps must be cleaned inside and out.
All components (concrete and steel surfaces) of the barrage are to be cleaned using high-pressure water jetting. It is expressly pointed out that all concrete and especially steel surfaces to be cleaned are extensively and in some cases extremely clogged with mussels. The coated steel components (gates, weir flaps and closures) may be cleaned at a maximum pressure of 120 bar due to the possible release of PAHs. The coating is free of asbestos. The new lock gates are also PAH-free. Higher pressures (up to a maximum of 250 bar) are permitted for the reinforced concrete surfaces. Damage to the concrete surfaces and the coating on the gates and locks must be avoided at all costs. If necessary, the cleaning pressure must be reduced or adjusted accordingly.
