The construction project involves the installation of a new FO network on the following routes:
House 60a MS-SV West - House 54 MS Room
House 65 EVU meter MS room - House 54 MS room
House 60a MS-SV West - House 16b (South Station)
House 60a MS-SV West - House 60a MS-SV East
House 60a MS-SV East - SV station P2
House 60a MS-SV West - SV station P2
The cables for the individual sections are routed via media routes, some of which were designed as crawl spaces (approx. 1.5 meters high) next to the heating supply services. The fiber optic cables are routed in a protective conduit, which is mounted directly on the masonry walls. C-profile mounts can only be used to a limited extent, which is why the new assembly is to be installed almost entirely as an independent cable routing route.
Access to the media routes is via the basements of the buildings or shaft access points on the campus.
The corresponding terminal equipment is to be installed in the technical rooms. The exact positioning must be agreed with the local construction management, if not already specified in the work and installation planning. The splice connections must be made and OTDR measurements carried out.
