Description

Whitefield Business School (WBS) is a registered tertiary education provider and started operations in 2007.

They offer MBA courses, bachelor courses (in administration and hospitality management), level 3 and level 7 courses. WBS also provides professional short course (public speaking, cyber laws, professional English/French courses, Customer Service, Computer Forensics, Compliance and Strategic Management. they work with major local companies on CPD courses - ABSA bank, SBM, Constance Hotels, Total Energies, Beachcomber. 

WBS has a growing student population which comes 9 countries (Asia, Africa, and the Indian Ocean Island). They work with 70 registered student recruitment consultants in Africa and Asia to the likes of Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, Madagascar, Ghana, South Africa, and India. Next, they plan on recruiting from Zambia, Botswana, Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zimbabwe, and Franco – African markets (Cameroun, Ivory Coast, Abidjan, Gabon, Rwanda). WBS will also open its first office in India.

They ambition to set up a school of medical science to provide courses in the field of Dentistry and Pharmacy in the next years.

WBS is expanding physically because of the increasing demand and with the new campus– it will be able to cater for around 1500 students.

Along with the physical expansion, they also want to broaden their offering and are looking for a UK university for a comprehensive partnership in:

  • business management
  • construction and build engineering
  • marketing management
  • law
  • computer science / IT

A very conservative number of students enrolments for year one across all the courses is 120. In 5 years, they are expecting at least 500 student enrolments.
