Description

The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) intends to procure by competitive process certain services provided for under the EU co-financed Rural Development Programme Measure entitled “Targeted Advisory Service on Animal Health” included in the Ireland’s National/EU co-financed National Rural Development Plan 2014 – 2020 (extended to 2025). The Measure proposes two key elements: Training of Advisors to deliver animal health advice to farmers The specialist training of professional advisors (veterinarians) to deliver an On-Farm Animal Health and Biosecurity Advisory service; and, On farm Advice scheme on specific animal health subjects The delivery of professional specialist advice in animal health and biosecurity subjects to farmers at individual farm level by trained professional advisors (veterinarians).
