Description
The district of Neustadt a.d.Waldnaab intends to award the contract for the timber and steel construction services required for the implementation of the construction project as part of the new construction of the indoor swimming pool on the site under the grammar school in 92660 Neustadt a.d.Waldnaab an der Bildstraße.
The area to be built on consists of 1 parcel of land and essentially comprises a forest area and its adjoining areas. The available portion of the plot is around 4,000m². In view of the size of the plot, the layout and the proximity to the neighboring sites, the new Neustadt indoor swimming pool is planned as a two-storey building.
The technical area in the basement is located at street level, approx. 4.0 m below the first floor. The foundation is a 30 cm thick floor slab resting on the capillary breaking gravel layer. The entire indoor pool is planned to be barrier-free.
The roof is supported by thirteen wooden trusses that rest on steel composite supports on the first floor slab. The ceiling in the interior is clad with acoustic panels,
which form an undulating geometric shape. The load-bearing exterior walls in the basement are constructed as 30 cm reinforced concrete walls in semi-prefabricated elements. The pool walls are made of semi-precast reinforced concrete. The load-bearing exterior walls on the first floor are timber frame walls with a thickness of 24 cm. The load-bearing and bracing interior walls are timber frame walls with different wall thicknesses in accordance with the structural concept. The timber walls stand on approx. 30 cm high concrete bases.
The floor slabs are predominantly made of reinforced concrete. The thickness is d=25 cm. The pool floors are made of reinforced concrete and are d=30 cm thick.
The pool structures are self-supporting stainless steel pools that are built into the reinforced concrete structure.
The stairs are made of prefabricated reinforced concrete.
The roof construction in the indoor swimming pool area is made of wooden beams with a stiffening roof slab made of laminated veneer lumber, supported on steel composite supports and load-bearing timber frame walls. The roof structure in the outbuilding (foyer, changing room, shower area) is made of timber beams with a stiffening roof slab made of laminated veneer lumber, supported on load-bearing timber frame walls.
