Description
There are currently two wastewater treatment plants in the Beilngries municipal area. The Beilngries wastewater treatment plant treats wastewater from the residents of the town and all districts with the exception of Irfersdorf. The residents of Irfersdorf have their own wastewater treatment plant.
The water rights for this sewage treatment plant in the Irfersdorf district have now expired. An extension of the existing water right is tied to a certain legal requirement and can only be approved by the responsible water management office \/ district office if the corresponding requirements are met.
Several options for the extension of the water rights were examined by specialist planning offices.
The existing Irfersdorf wastewater treatment plant is now to be decommissioned. The wastewater could be transferred to the Beilngries wastewater treatment plant by building a new pumping station on the site of the Irfersdorf wastewater treatment plant and constructing a new wastewater pressure pipeline to Neuzell.
Investments in wastewater disposal plants must be passed on to the citizens.
In order to determine the individual costs for each connection, a comprehensive overview of the remaining plant value and the necessary new investments must be carried out. These calculations are currently being carried out by a specialist office in cooperation with the Bavarian Association of Municipalities. The results should be available by the middle of the year at the latest.
