The use of the city museum is to be adapted to today's requirements as part of the necessary renovation measures:
The future utilization concept envisages preserving the historic courtyard complex from the early 19th century in the center of Gerlingen, which is used as a town museum and museum of the Germans from Hungary, as a cultural monument in its structural substance through extensive renovation measures. After the complete renovation, the complex is to serve as a barrier-free exhibition building as well as an event venue and meeting place for the people of Gerlingen, but also for guests and visitors to the town. To this end, the city museum and the residential building are to be adapted to the current state of the art and applicable standards in terms of building law, technology and energy efficiency, taking into account the compatibility with listed buildings.
All components are to meet accessibility requirements.
The subject of the VgV procedure is architectural services for project planning in accordance with Sections 33 ff HOAI 2021, work phases 1-9. The contract will be awarded in stages. In stage 1, service phases 1-3 are to be commissioned.
The provisional total costs for the overall measure were assumed to be around EUR 6 million gross.
