Description
The two elevated tanks Bobenheim old and new, respectively the Bobenheim elevated zone, are filled by the pumping station in the Bobenheim waterworks by means of overlifting. The energy efficiency of the over-lifting operation was examined by KSB SE & Co. KGaA, which found that the pumping station is operating outside its operating point and that there is potential to improve energy efficiency. Furthermore, in the course of the admission of PfK Ansbach GmbH, clear deficits were identified in the area of the piping system and the airways with regard to pumping station integration and suction tank hygiene. In summary, with the implementation of the present planning, the lift-over pumping station in Bobenheim WWTP is to be renovated with the main focus on increasing energy efficiency and hygienically integrating the pressure tank system. In the course of this, the water chamber piping of the pure water tank, in particular the air ducts and the transfer discharge, must also be adapted to the current state of the art.
