Description

The town of Volkach intends to renovate the existing outdoor pool (FLNR: 2100) with the existing outdoor pool and technical building in Fahrer Straße. The refurbishment of the outdoor pool is being funded by the federal and state governments, and the areas of work are also divided according to the distribution of the funding. The recyclable demolition material is to be used to fill the crawl space to be demolished. To create a new level at the height of the existing pool slab, angled retaining walls on three sides and two staircases to Fahrer Strasse are required. To ensure accessibility, a ramp will be built next to the staircase, parallel to the main building. The bistro and changing area will be based on the fillings with a foundation slab under which perimeter insulation will be laid over the entire area in order to comply with the minimum thermal insulation requirements for the building in the floor slab component. The buildings must be temperature-controlled in winter in order to prevent the water pipes from freezing and damage to the technical equipment, and the new outdoor pool building retains the position of the old building. The parallel position of the building to Fahrer Straße shields bathers from the public and is representative of the new entrance building to the Volkach outdoor pool, while the staircase in the middle of the building with the barrier-free ramp marks the main entrance and is also the window to the outdoor pool area. The bistro and changing area are at the level of the pool slab, and in order to cover the heat requirements of the swimming pools, the largest possible roof area was required, spanning the bistro, entrance, toilet and changing area. It is fully covered with a solar absorber for the swimming pools and a small solar system for the showers. the upper edge of the finished floor of the new outdoor pool building is at the level of the pool slab (196.40 above sea level). According to the Aschaffenburg Water Management Office, the flood level HQ 100 (Main) is 197.47 above sea level, flood level HQ frequent (Main) is 196.30 above sea level. The outdoor pool building is designed in such a way that it can be flooded in the event of flooding. The chosen construction method is monolithic, so that there are no building components behind it, and the existing technical building to the south-east of the outdoor pool building will be retained. All extensions and conversions will be removed. The existing concrete basement walls and ceiling will be renovated. The area on the first floor will be used for additional toilets for bathers, a storage room and a chlorine gas room, and an additional technical room measuring approx. 14.00m x 8.00m will be required for the new swimming pool technology (water area 939m²). No water may penetrate this part of the technical building. The roof construction of the outdoor pool and technical building is an inverted saddle roof with an internal gutter. The load is transferred via purlins made of glulam and solid structural timber, which rest on the masonry or are supported by pillars. The roof covering is a rear-ventilated metal covering, on which a solar absorber is later applied. The roof overhang is at least approx. 1.00 m all around with the rafter heads visible.Part of the following specifications are the carpentry work for the roof truss of the outdoor pool and the technical building, as well as the necessary scaffolding work. The roof truss is visible in some areas and in the area of the roof overhang.Data for the outdoor pool building:Solid structural timber C 24 approx. 50m³Framework solid structural timber approx. 1800mGlulam GL24h approx. 2.0m³Framework glulam approx. 30mRoof boarding visible approx. 470m²Roof formwork not visible approx. 340m²Façade scaffolding approx. 840m²Roof safety scaffolding approx. 160mData technical building:Solid structural timber C 24 approx. 11m³Framework solid structural timber approx. 650mOSB board as roof slab approx. 120m²Roof shing...
