Description

The town of Kreuztal is planning the construction of a new combined civic forum and school extension with a connection to the existing building.
The previous town hall of the town of Kreuztal burned down on 16.05.2022. The citizens' forum is to be rebuilt at the same location. A combination solution consisting of a new citizens' forum and a school extension is to be built.
The Citizens' Forum is a central meeting and event location for all kinds of events. In addition to being used for all kinds of cultural events, it is primarily available to clubs, institutions, groups and cultural initiatives as well as schools in Kreuztal for their own events. The Bürgerforum is the only place in Kreuztal where events of this kind can be held for a larger number of visitors and users.
The measure must take place without disrupting teaching in the immediately neighboring school building. The new building is adjacent to the existing secondary school on one long side and to a schoolyard, a school recreation area, a parking lot and its access road on the other three sides. This route is used as a public road, a school route, an access route to the school and sports center, a delivery route and a fire department access route. These framework conditions must be taken into account when providing the services.
In addition to the project planning of the new construction of the combined citizens' forum and school extension, the entire ensemble must be examined and processed with regard to a possible restructuring of the schoolyard areas as well as the entrance areas\/access routes and, if necessary, the parking space situation. In this context, 3 construction phases are planned:
BA 1 - Entrance area Bürgerforum \/ Gymnasium
BA 2 - Secondary school playground
BA 3 - Comprehensive school playground \/ grammar school

Area of new civic forum building \/ assembly facility: 2,545 m² GFA \/ 14,514 m³ BRI,
Area of new school building: 3,126 m² GFA \/ 11,583 m³ BRI.

Costs for the demolition of the burnt down town hall: 200,000 ? gross,
Costs for the dismantling of the schoolyard roofing brought forward as a preparatory measure for the expansion of the open break hall, including barrier-free access to levels I-III: 59,000 K? gross,
Costs of cost group 300-400 New combined building (citizen form \/ school): 13,390,534 ? gross,
Costs of cost group 300-400 New design of east entrance with break hall: 1,379,000 ? gross,
Costs of cost group 500: 4,645,000 ? gross,
Total costs of cost group 200-700 citizens' forum and school extension (incl. east entrance and break hall): approx. 24.00 million ? gross

Start of planning: 02.01.2025,
Start of construction: 01.05.2027,
Completion of construction: 31.05.2030.
