Description
The City of Korschenbroich (hereinafter referred to as the client) invites tenders for the supply of electrical energy from 100 percent renewable energy sources (green electricity) for its points of purchase throughout Europe in an open procedure. Of this, 50 percent must come from new plants.
The supply of green electricity that receives a production or consumption subsidy is not permitted. This includes, among other things, state support schemes that require the use of renewable energy sources, including those that use so-called green certificates, as well as direct price support systems including feed-in tariffs and premium payments.
With this tender, the client aims to reduce its CO2 emissions and contribute to the expansion of renewable energies.
Once the contract has been awarded, an electricity supply contract is concluded with the client for its points of purchase, which are listed in the specifications. Electricity will be supplied as part of an all-inclusive contract (electricity supply including grid usage).
The subject of the contract award are all of the client's electricity consumption points listed in these documents. These are in particular administrative buildings, schools, sports and leisure facilities, social and cultural facilities, residential buildings, street lighting systems The purchase volume of the tender is approx. 5,410 GWh\/a:
Off-take points with demand metering (RLM): 1.312 GWh\/a \/ 16 off-take points
Off-take points without power metering (SLP): 2.532 GWh\/a \/ 162 off-take points
Off-take points for street lighting: 1.567 GWh\/a \/ 92 off-take points.
The existing supply contracts for all supply points end on 31.12.2024. As part of this tender, the supply will be awarded from 01.01.2025. The supply period is three years and cannot be extended during the term of the contract. The calculation of the offer is based on this service description, the electricity supply contract, the legal regulations, in particular the Energy Industry Act and the legal ordinances issued on its basis in the currently valid version.
