The subject of this publication is the conclusion of non-exclusive framework agreements for written translations as well as simultaneous and consecutive translations for the Konrad Adenauer Foundation as part of an "open-house contract award". Interested freelancers or companies offering these services in one or more of the following languages (non-exhaustive list) are offered the opportunity to be listed as service providers for these languages. The prerequisite for concluding such a framework agreement is the submission of the fully completed and signed documents (framework agreement, required self-declarations and certificates). A standardized framework agreement is concluded with every freelancer and company that meets the requirements. This means that there is no exclusive contract and no individual contract negotiations are conducted. Contracts are awarded by the respective offices of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation on a competitive basis by comparing prices. Commissioning guarantees or contingent contracts are not part of this framework agreement.
