Description

The subject of the procedure is the procurement of a flow-through measuring cell for NMR spectroscopic measurements in 5mm sample heads, including accessories for sample transport into and out of the measuring cell and for temperature control. the flow-through measuring cell is required to observe chemical reactions in real time with NMR spectroscopy, whereby the reactions take place outside the NMR magnet and the reaction solution is then pumped through the measuring cell in the magnet. The transfer of the reaction solution and the NMR measurement must be synchronized in time, and the flow-through measuring cell will be used to carry out very precise and reproducible kinetic studies, which are essential for the processing of several projects within the SFB 1636. The device must meet the following specifications/parameters:- The NMR flow cell must be suitable for NMR magnets with an inner diameter of 54 mm;- The flow cell must be suitable for 5 mm sample heads;- The flow cell must be easily exchangeable by users;- The active measuring volume must be at least 200 µL;- The NMR flow cell must be connected to a pump outside the NMR magnet via a transfer line. The pump and the transfer line should be part of the offer;- The transfer line must be temperature controlled (at least in the range -20 °C to 120 °C) and at least 4 m long;- The NMR flow cell, the pump and the transfer line must be suitable for operation at a pressure of up to 10 bar;- The pump must allow a flow rate of 0.001 to 10 mL/min and have a low pulsation of the flow rate;- The pump must have an emergency shutdown in case of blockages or leaks;- The pump and transfer line must be suitable for common chemicals and solvents (up to 10 % HCl, 10 % NaOH, DMSO, chloroform, dichloromethane, alcohols, etc.);- The software for data acquisition and analysis must be supplied with the flow cell;- The flow cell and software must be compatible with existing equipment: Bruker 600 MHz Avance III console, 500 MHz NEO console, Bruker TopSpin 3.7 and TopSpin 4.4.
