Description
The U.S. Consulate in Cape Town requires janitorial services for real property owned by the U.S. Government. The selected contractor will be responsible for maintaining designated spaces, including but not limited to:
Halls, offices, and work areas
Restrooms and storage areas
Entrances, lobbies, elevators, and stairways
Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide all necessary managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel to fulfill the contract requirements effectively.
Contract Duration
The anticipated performance period includes a base year with four one-year option periods, subject to the Government’s discretion.
Award and Submission Details
The Government may award the contract based on initial offers without discussion.
The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed-price agreement.
A pre-quotation conference will be scheduled, with details provided in the solicitation attached.
All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (https://www.sam.gov) before submitting an offer, per FAR provision 52.204-7. Early registration is strongly encouraged.
Electronic Submission Requirements
Offers must be submitted electronically before the specified deadline.
Acceptable file formats: MS Word 2007/2010, MS Excel 2007/2010, or PDF.
The total file size must not exceed 25MB. If necessary, submissions should be divided into separate files and sent in multiple emails, each under 25MB.
