The Rheinsberg educational campus is to be extended and expanded by converting and renovating Kiefernweg 5 as a primary school site. The property was built in 1980-1981 as a prefabricated school (Erfurt type). It has been used continuously as a school. The facade was last renovated in 1990. The building currently houses classrooms for the elementary school and the after-school care center, and the work will be carried out while the school is in operation (mostly during the vacations) and in certain areas and must be calculated accordingly. The building has an outdated electrical system with various defects. The entire electrical installation of the building is to be renewed with the tendered construction measures. The measures listed below can be started in spring 2025. These include the renewal of the main distribution board, the installation of a new fire alarm system as a building alarm, the installation of security lighting, the installation of an PA system with an amok alarm function and the installation of an intruder alarm system, the retrofitting of a media column with an PA loudspeaker, data ports and integrated 6-row UV in each classroom, the renewal of the lighting systems in the classrooms, preparation rooms, circulation areas and ancillary rooms and the installation of the structured network.
