Description

The replacement of the Bladenhorster Bridge No. 363 on the Rhine-Herne Canal is a measure in accordance with the Federal Transport Infrastructure Plan for the expansion of the West German canal network. The replacement of the Bladenhorster Bridge is necessary to adapt it to the new expansion cross-section and to ensure a clearance height of 5.25 m between the upper limit water level and the lower edge of the bridge superstructure.

The tendered service includes the disposal of soil.

Due to the limited space available on the construction site, it is not possible to store soil temporarily. It can be assumed that the resulting soil masses can be disposed of in sections.
Construction work to replace the bridge will begin in November 2024 and is expected to take around 44 months. The soil produced will be collected by the construction company in accordance with the construction process and transported by truck to the company to be commissioned with this tender for disposal.
